Mary Ann Gibson FROUDE married Samuel JORDAN on the 23^rd July 1862 at the Salem Chapel, Methodist New Connexion, Belfast, Ireland.

They had the following children.

1. Thomas Froude JORDAN born 19 May 1864 in Belfast and married Ada Elizabeth DOGGETT (1870-1957) on the 21^st October 1889 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. They had six children.

 

2.      Samuel Froude JORDAN born 16 Jun 1865 in Belfast and married Mary MCMULLAN (1866- 1951) on the 30^th December 1888 in Belfast, Antrim, Ireland. They had 10 children. They moved to Canada.

3.       A female child was born 26^th Jun 1867 and died. Her name is not known.



David Victor JORDAN

4.      David Victor JORDAN was born 4^th  July 1869 in Belfast and married          Anne Jane GASKIN on the 22^nd June 1893 in Belfast. They had eight children. They moved to the United States of America.

At this stage the family moved across the Irish Sea to Salford in the Manchester area.

5. Isabella Gibson JORDAN was born in September Quarter 1871 in Salford, Lancashire, England, and married Arthur PALMER (1865 – 1940) in 1892 in Belfast. They had six children and moved to Canada.
6. Elizabeth JORDAN was born 1875 in Salford, Lancashire England.

The family then moved back to Belfast.

7. John Neill JORDAN was born 11 May 1881 in Belfast and married Elizabeth (Bessie) Mary WAUGH. They had a son William Waugh JORDAN who moved to Victoria, Australia. Jordan Neill also married Elizabeth Glen CREGG in Wynberg, Western Cape, South Africa.
8. Lydia Neill JORDAN born 20^th October 1884 in Belfast and married Richard SIMPSON. They lived in South Africa.
9. Robert JORDAN born Belfast and died in South Africa. Birth date unknown.
10. There were also twin boys who died at birth.
